What I do

• Editing — checking that you write is correct and states what you want to say
• Proofreading — making sure that what going to be printed is what you wrote

Editing can involve me checking as much or as little as you want:

• Spelling and punctuation correct?
• Grammar correct?
• Style and word choice word choice appropriate?
• Easy for the reader to understand?
• Not offending people?
• Important details missed out?
• Information that isn't relevant is included?
• Topics covered in the right order?
